HeartPoint Global is developing the HPGS, a minimally invasive adjustable percutaneous device that replaces surgical pulmonary artery banding for paediatric and adult heart-failure patients. It targets congenital heart-defect and CHF cases especially in low- and middle-income markets where open surgery is harder to access. The implant allows post-procedure pressure adjustment without re-operation.
