NatsarPharma is developing RK-33, a first-in-class small-molecule DDX3 RNA-helicase inhibitor that arrests G1, induces apoptosis, and sensitises tumours to radiation. It targets DDX3-overexpressing lung, breast, brain, sarcoma, pancreatic, and prostate cancers via biopsy-stratified trials. Spun out of Johns Hopkins, the asset disrupts Wnt signalling and DNA repair simultaneously.
