Swave Photonics builds the HXR holographic display chip, a spatial light modulator with sub-300nm pixels that sculpts lightwaves into true holographic images. It targets makers of AR smartglasses, heads-up displays, and holographic video walls. Spun out of imec and built on CMOS, it removes the waveguides competing AR optics require.
